The worst part about Downers Grove not being developed further was that we never were able to unveil the “official” Downers Grove town website we were making with the IT team over at Warner Brothers, complete an “Dear Abby” section called “Ask Mr. Dobalina”, personals, police records, and fake banner ads for local businesses featured in the show.
Here are some slogans we came up with:
SLOGANS
GO GO’S GAS MART
“Bathrooms are for customers only.”
“Free [day-old] donut with every fill-up.”
“Dozens served.”
“Fill it up before you go go!”
“Pixie Stix by the register!”
DINNERTOWN
“Everyone eats when they go to a restaurant”
“Home of a sandwich!”
“Come in on your birthday, and get a free head of lettuce!”
“Across the highway from Applebee’s”
“Home of the Marinara Trench, North America’s Deepest Sauce Pit”
“Now indoors!”
“Try our one gallon applesauce challenge for a chance to win a souvenir WINDBREAKER!”
“Proud to celebrate your stupid high school play.”
“No substitutions”
“Add chili to anything on our menu for just $2.89!”
ZITI PETE’S
“High Class Dining, Low Class Prices - That’s Amore!”
“A Taste of Italy, Without a Plane Ticket!”
“Saucey Fun”
“Take a pit stop in Italia!”
And here’s a screenshot of what the website was gonna potentially look like:

Come see it if you’re in Los Angeles and you like fun.
